The Brand

Karin's journey into the visual arts began during her violin studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music, where she also pursued drawing and lithography at the renowned Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. This foundational training in visual expression laid the groundwork for her evolution into a multidisciplinary artist who bridges the worlds of music and art. Her experience as a classical musician informs her visual work, allowing her to approach art with a sense of rhythm, movement, and harmony that is distinctly musical.

Karin's brand, "Inspired by Music," is a celebration of her dual identity as both a musician and visual artist.

The collection specifically caters to musicians and music lovers, drawing inspiration from her extensive network of musical colleagues and her own career as a professional viola player. The concept behind "Inspired by Music" is to create a line of products that resonate not just visually but also emotionally with those who appreciate the art of sound.

Suppliers

We go the extra mile to work with manufactures and suppliers who like us are deeply passionate about quality.

Our Fine Bona China have been manufactured by Duchess China 1888, one of the last remaining potteries in Stoke-on-Trent where skills have been passed down generations.

Our cushion covers are made in Wales, whilst our prints and cards are made using paper sourced from Somerset and the Lake District.

Sustainability

Beyond focusing solely on high-quality products, the we have chosen our manufacturers based on their efforts towards sustainability. Our mugs have been made with Cornish clay, the cushion covers in unbleached cotton with water-based inks, and the cards from local mills using FSC paper.

We have gone the extra mile to make sure we do everything we can to be considerate for our planet; our cards have kraft envelopes and biodegradable sleeves and all our boxes - also locally made - are made from recycled cardboard.
